I also turned my mind from Pop Rock to a more slow based song that can really touch peoples hearts. Some of the songs which I looked at were A Thousand Years, Uncover, Fly To Your Heart, Tinkerbell, Smile, Once Upon A Dream etc.

After many debates and research Cheap Thrills was the song that I finalised for my Music Video.

Back-Ground

Many problems occurred in finalizing the song for our final A2 Advanced Music Promotional Package. First we chose a song from the band Blues entitled One Love and even made the rough sketch of a story board for it, however that didn't work out so well due to many problems like actors, budget restrictions, location limitations etc. However we caught some shots and made a few clips which served as a warm up exercise.

Freeze Frame!!!

 i made another video i Adobe After Effects CS6, however this time I used Freeze Frame.
For my Freeze Frame video I duplicated another layer off of my original video to get two identical layers. Firstly i freezed one layer the way I wanted to, masked it and then I placed the freezed layer on top of the original one.

Fun with Green Screen

Today we learned how to use the green screen or blue screen in the class and why only these two colors are used to transform the background to another. This is because all color pigments can be found in the human skin except for green and blue color, which is why to transform background to another we use either green screen or blue screen.

Welcome Video Part 2

This is the Final Version of the Welcome Video made for the annual AS Welcome Party.

Welcome Part 1

For the AS Welcome Party, we i.e. my group and I, made a horror-comedy short film TRAPPED for them. Our inspiration of this film was 'The Scary movie'. We spent two days making the storyboard and finalizing the locations for the video.

For our Hardware equipment, we used a stand tripod, a hand tripod, Nikon D3200 for the pictures and Canon 6D for the shooting and flashlight and a stabilizer.
Knife, Key, Lock, Horror Book, A Cape and Mask were also a part of our props.

For the compilation and editing of the movie we used Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and CC, and also Adobe After Effects CS6 and CC.

We decided to shoot in the O levels Library and the A Levels hallway of our school building. We also changed a few aspects of the mise en scene to fit our storyboard accordingly, for example: in the library we moved a few tables and chairs to make room for the shooting and killer, we took the shooting during the evening as that would be a symbolic effect in our film as darkness depicts fear and connotes to the horror genre.. we also showed a passage of time as when the girl was sleeping we could see that it was towards afternoon but in the end we could see that night had fallen.

The Killer wore a long black cape, black gloves, a mask and was holding a knife, while the girl was dressed opposite to the Villain in a very casual outfit.

The shooting took around 2 days to complete.
